RUNDOWN OF EVENTS IN THE WEEK (EL BLANCO)
OLD SCHOOL DAY: (9:00am)
Students dress in their old school attires and rally round the campus to create awareness for the week.
CULTURAL DAY/MASSCOMM GOT TALENTS (MGT):
Students dress in their native attires and gather at the Faculty of Arts lawn.
Students represent their various cultures through dressings, foods, performances, masquerade displays, kings and queens etc(1:00pm)
The Masscomm got talents show starts by 10:00am.
THE BROADCAST SECTION; Students contest to know who is best at showering words on the microphone. The winner gets a One-hour airspace on Lion fm to air any programme of his/her choice.
THE PRINT SECTION; Students engage in a writing competition to know who’s got the best of literary licences. The winning articles get published on a national newspaper in Nigeria.
THE SINGING SECTION; The artistes in the house battle among themselves with beautiful tunes and rap songs. The winner mounts the stage on the “Macsa” night to thrill the audience with his/her music.

H.O.D’S CUP (GRAND FINALE)
A football match between “room 306” (the defending champions) and “room 206” for the final round of the ongoing H.O.D’s cup.
GALA NIGHT/ DEPARTMENTAL NIGHT/ DINNER NIGHT/ MACSA NIGHT (10:00pm)
(The red carpet section)… Students party hard from night till dawn. The pageantry show holds from which the new Mr and Mrs Macsa will be crowned.

.Students converge at The Christ Church to appreciate God for the success of the week.
PS: Lectures are expected to be suspended throughout the week in the department except from courses offered outside the department.
